\nThe splice box is suitable for housing cable splices for up to 60 optical fibers.<\/p>\n
\nThe splice box is made of reinforced plastic (PP0-MODIFIED 30%).<\/p>\n
\nThe splice box consists of a cylindrical container with several essential parts:
\n1) A base. This houses the cable entry, complete with valve and corresponding 5-contact “continuity socket.” This ensures the continuity of the cable armor and anchors the entire internal structure containing the optical fibers.
\n2) Cap. This is removable and represents the external containment casing.
\n3) O-Ring gasket
\n4) 5 slots. These allow for any required branch connections, with a housing for a continuity socket.
\n5) 6 planar modules (splice modules). These contain the fiber splices.
\n6) 2 recessed seats on the outside of the cap. These allow the structure to be anchored to a wall or pole.<\/p>\n
